Welcome to Lumira. By using the app you agree to these terms. Please read them.

1. Who can use Lumira

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding agreement. By using Lumira you confirm that you are.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time.

3. Community conduct

Lumira is a respectful, spoiler-free space for readers. You agree not to:

• Post spoilers outside the chapter-aware discussion, or attempt to bypass the spoiler controls.
• Harass, threaten, or demean other members.
• Post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content.
• Reproduce or distribute the full text of copyrighted books. Lumira is for discussion and short quotations, not for sharing book contents.
• Disrupt, scrape, or abuse the service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, highlights and comments you create. You grant Lumira a limited license to store and display that content to the members of the clubs you share it with, solely to operate the service.

5. AI reflection prompts

Lumira offers AI-generated reflection questions to spark discussion. They are suggestions, may be imperfect, and are not professional, literary, or other advice.

6. Our intellectual property

The Lumira app, brand, and design are owned by Lumira and protected by law. These terms don’t grant you rights to them beyond using the app as intended.

7. Disclaimers

Lumira is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lumira is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using Lumira at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service and its members.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll revise the date above and announce significant changes in the app. Continuing to use Lumira means you accept the updated terms.
